Counseling Program
The purpose of the
Free Clinic's counseling program is to provide service to individuals
and families who lack insurance, financial means, or a desire to seek
therapy elsewhere. Marriage and Family Therapist trainees provide
counseling under the supervision of a licensed MFT. The program is
governed under the regulations of the Board of Behavioral Science.
Individuals and families spend one hour per week in a private
confidential setting receiving careful guidance and caring support from
trained counselors, who are skilled in helping clients deal with stress,
depression, and communication-related problems. The average course of
therapy ranges from six weeks to six months. Appointments are available
at various times throughout the week. Please call the clinic between 5
and 8PM for more information or to make appointments.
